You’re not Lost, you’re being called back to Yourself

As I prepare and go deeper into creating the Womb Wisdom Weekend, I find myself gathering together all sorts of delicious offerings that are designed to truly support women in their lives. Because the truth is, our lives are full, and at times they can feel deeply overwhelming.

Somewhere along the way, many of us begin to feel as though we are losing ourselves, questioning who we are now, or even realising that we no longer recognise ourselves in the way we once did. We can feel lost and disconnected, and even though everything might look fine on the outside and we are going about our responsibilities, doing all the things and managing it all, there is often a quiet sense that something just isn’t right… something feels off.

This is why I feel so strongly about women coming together. It is something I witness in my monthly women’s circles, and with the Womb Wisdom Weekend we have the opportunity to go even deeper, in a way that feels nourishing rather than overwhelming. At its heart, this work is about slowing down and gently coming back to yourself.

As I prepare to hold space for eight beautiful women that I am calling in, I notice that I am also walking this path myself—slowing down, tuning in, and listening more deeply.

And I’m reminded of the seasons we move through as women.

The Maiden – our spring. From puberty until we have our first baby.
The Mother – our summer. When life is full, blooming, busy.
The Maga – our autumn. As we move into perimenopause and menopause, we begin to slow down and turn inward.
And the Crone or the Sage – where there is deep wisdom, lived experience, and so much to share.

For a long time, these later seasons have not been honoured in the way they deserve within our society, but I do feel that this is beginning to shift. There is a quiet return to valuing the elders, the wise women, and the grandmothers. As a woman in this season myself, having moved through the menopause initiation and having gathered over 31 years of experience supporting women, I feel deeply called to share what I have learnt and embodied.

This includes the work I have done supporting women through birth, holding them in postpartum, offering Closing of the Bones ceremony, and my time in Ecuador where I learnt how to truly tend to the womb space. This work has changed me, and one of the most powerful things I have come to understand is the importance of centering the womb. Because if the womb is not centred, you are not centred in your life.

I experienced this very personally when I had pain in my left hip for about 18 months. I tried many different approaches to understand what was happening, and it was only when I went to Ecuador that I discovered my womb had shifted to the left. When we worked with it and gently brought it back into alignment, my hip pain improved by about 80%, which was incredibly profound. It showed me how deeply connected we are to our womb space, and how important it is to be in relationship with it.

This is why this work forms such an important part of the weekend. We will explore womb awareness, womb massage, and connection, and we will also bring in ancestral work as a way of remembering the wisdom that already lives within us.

Because the reality is that you are holding a lot, doing a lot, and often receiving very little support in return. It is no wonder that things can start to feel off. There is nothing wrong with you, and you are not broken, even though it can sometimes feel that way.

Many women are already doing the “work” in their own way; reading books, listening to podcasts, journalling, meditating but what is often missing is a space where you can truly be held. A space where you don’t have to carry everything, where you can soften, and where you are able to receive.

This is what the Womb Wisdom Weekend offers. It is not another thing to add to your list, but rather a space to step out of the noise and into a different rhythm, where you do not need to perform, manage, or hold it all together. Everything is taken care of, and fully catered for, so that you can simply arrive and be supported.

During the weekend, you will be gently guided back to your body, your breath, and your own inner knowing. Through grounding practices, nervous system support, and womb connection, you will have the opportunity to experience this work in a way that is embodied and meaningful, with tools that you can take home and continue to use in your daily life.

At its core, this is not about learning something new, but about remembering what is already within you.

You may find yourself wondering whether you really need this, or whether you can figure it out on your own. What I am offering, though, is a supported return to yourself. There is nothing wrong with wanting more space, more calm, more clarity, and more connection, both with yourself and with others. There is also nothing selfish about wanting to feel at home within yourself again, in fact, it is essential.

Because when you feel grounded within yourself, everything begins to shift. The way you move through your days, the way you show up in your relationships, and the way you experience your life all begin to change.

So if this speaks to you, if you are feeling tired in a way that is not just physical, disconnected without fully understanding why, or simply ready for something to shift but unsure where to begin, I warmly welcome you.

This is your invitation to soften, to receive the support you need, and to come home to yourself. Contact me for more info.
