Last week I bumped into a client of mine at the local shops.
Her daughter was doing something at one of the schools in the area, and I was there with her when she birthed her twins naturally almost 7 years ago. We had a quick chat because, well… life is busy. Things happen. We get busy in our lives. And we both said, “I can’t believe that’s how much time has passed.” She was telling me that she had been speaking to her older daughter, who is now older than the twins, and she said to her, “Just pause.”
And it really stayed with me.
Because that’s why I have the women’s circles.
To create a moment for women. For mothers. For us to take a moment for ourselves, because life is full and busy. There’s lots to do and achieve and think about and organise and remember…
And sometimes we just need to pause.
Not to do another thing.
Not to achieve anything.
But to come home to ourselves.
To make space for you.
To be held by other women.
The women who attend my circles are like-minded, kind and compassionate. Not that we don’t have our stuff, we’ve all got stuff, we are able to be in circle together.
To create a sacred space to be together as women.
To be held.
To feel safe.
To breathe.
To pause.
And maybe that is something we all need a little more of.
Just pause.
So, if you’ve been feeling like life is moving quickly, or you’ve been doing lots for everyone else and not quite getting around to yourself, perhaps this is your invitation.Come and pause with us.
The next The Pause Women’s Circle is happening this month.
A few hours to step out of the doing, connect with other women and simply come home to yourself. You don’t need to arrive with anything figured out.
Just come as you are.
I’d love to have you there.
